Call for Paper/ Poster Presentation

Deadline for Submission of Papers/ Posters: 3 Mar 2004

The Conference Organizing Committee invites paper/poster presentations for the International Conference for Physical Educators (ICPE 2004). Each accepted paper will be assigned to a concurrent session (one session in English, and one session in Chinese), and will be allotted 15 minutes. Each accepted poster will be assigned to a poster session, and will be allotted a poster board space. The poster board size is regulated as 110cm in height and 80cm in width. All presenters, coordinators, and facilitators are required to pay the full registration fee for the entire Conference.

Guidelines for Submission of Abstracts for Papers/Posters

Deadline for Paper/Poster Abstract Submission: 3 March, 2004

  • The language of the Conference will be mainly English. However, there will be a number of sessions in Chinese.
  • All submitted abstracts must be written either in English or Chinese.
  • Each abstract is 200 words, 10 point Times New Roman font, single-spaced.
  • Each submission must include two abstracts, a cover page with paper title, full name and professional affiliation of author(s), mailing address, telephone/fax numbers, and e-mail.
  • Abstracts can be submitted either electronically or by mail. Submissions by mail must include a non-refundable virus-free floppy disk containing the abstract in MSword or Rich Text Format (RTF), and properly labeled (name and title). (Sample Abstract)
  • All costs associated with presentation and participation in the ICPE 2004 are the responsibility of the participant.
  • Authors will be informed of acceptance by 30 April, 2004.

Opportunity for Publication in Conference Book

Deadline for submission of papers for publication in Special Edition Book:
8 June, 2004
  • Papers and posters presented at the ICPE 2004 will be selected for publication in a special edition book (sample of ICPE 2000 Conference Book) at the discretion of the Conference Organizing Committee (Sample format of the book for ICPE 2004)
  • Presented articles will be blind reviewed by experts in different disciplines, and can be considerd as refereed article.
  • All full papers must be written either in English or Chinese and follow the prescribed format shown on ICPE 2004 website. Authors may simply cut-and-paste their paper into this format. (Sample format of a published paper in the ICPE 2000 Conference Book)
  • Each paper must not exceed 15 single-spaced pages, and must be written with 9 point Times New Roman font on A5 size paper.
  • Each submission must include two copies of the full paper, a cover page with paper title, full name and professional affiliation of author(s), mailing address, telephone/fax numbers, and e-mail.
  • Papers can be submitted either electronically or by mail. Submissions by mail must include a non-refundable virus-free floppy disk containing the abstract in MSword or Rich Text Format (RTF), and properly labeled (name and title).
