  • Living Values Education Programme: Beijing Experience
 
Workshop 2
  • Theme: Unity
  • Objective: point out the meaning of "unity", the importance and power of "unity" and the method of achieving "unity"
  • Method: Role-playing
 
Workshop 3
  • Theme: Embrace Green
  • Objective: Build up the consciousness of environment protection
  • Method: Comics observation and discussion
 
Workshop 4
  • Theme: Confidence Building
  • Objective: To let children understand that confidence is the basis of success and learn to be confident from the early age of life
  • Method: Story telling and discussion
 

2. Workshops led by the experts from CDI, EMB

  • Theme: Integration of Values Education into the new KLAs
  • Objective: To give an insight to the educators and curriculum developers to achieve the theme.

Seminars

a. Seminar by Mr. Bernard Combes, UNESCO
  • Theme: "Good Approaches for values education with children: What can we do to make a difference?"
  • Objective: The seminar will seek to highlight that learning and education is about relationships, life (action), memory (experiences), imagination (creativity) and, most importantly, the quality of listening (or intuition).

b. Seminar by Mr. Chris Drake, Living Values Education Programme

  • Theme: "Introduction to the Living Values Education Programme-From Theory into Classroom Practice"
  • Objective: The seminar seeks to give a brief introduction of the Living Values Education Programme to educators
