Participating in the AIA Quest for the Champion Communicator 2005

During my practicum one of my students told me, 'If I decide to study English well, it is because of you.' While I was shocked by the statement, I started to realise my role as a teacher. If I assume it is true, I have to be well equipped to put theory into practice so as to benefit my students' learning.

My four-year programme has given me a solid foundation in Putonghua. The rigorous language tests during the period have not only enhanced my proficiency in Putonghua, they have also prepared me well to teach Chinese in the future.
