Summer 2005 --
The Birth of Language Teachers

These young people, mostly in their late teens in 2001, have gone through a journey of knowledge-seeking, professional teacher-training, identity-seeking and commitment reaffirmation in their four years at the Institute. Reflecting on this experience, they say that if it were not for the support and guidance the lecturers gave them, the sound professional training and the wide exposure to language and culture they received, backed up by high quality facilities, they would not have matured as a new generation of young teachers.
