About the Award:     The Young Scholar Best Paper Awards is established to encourage and recognize quality contributions to academic research and writing among young scholars who present papers at the APERA-HKERA Conference 2014.

 

Prizes:   HK$2,000 Book Voucher per winning paper

 

Number of Awarded Paper:  2

 

Eligibility:

Ÿ  Candidates who are less than 5 years academic expertise after Ph.D.

Ÿ  Submitted papers must be accepted for paper/ poster/ workshop/ symposium presentation at the APERA Conference 2014.

Ÿ  Candidates who fail to present their papers at the Conference will be automatically disqualified.

Ÿ  The paper should make a significant contribution to the theme of our conference ‘Managing Global Changes and Education Reforms: Asia and Pacific Responses’, and should be well written.

Ÿ  The paper must be received by the deadline specified by the conference organizer.

Ÿ   If the paper is written by more than one author, the contribution of the young scholar (candidate) should more than 50%.

Ÿ   Scanned copy of graduation certificate of Ph.D. degree (English version of certificate is preferred)

Ÿ   Submitted abstract and full paper for APERA 2014

Announcement of Nominated Papers:      The list of nominated papers for the Young Scholar Best Paper Awards will be announced on the conference website by the end of October 2014.

 

Awardee Notification:    The Young Scholar Best Paper Awards will be presented at the Closing Ceremony on 21 Nov 2014.
