Built in the period 1883 to 1888, the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception is beyond doubt an architectural masterpiece in Gothic architectural design. It was given the Honorable Mention by the UNESCO Asia Pacific Heritage Conservation Award in 2003. Through the guided tour, the participants learnt an integrated lesson in Religion, Architecture and History.
