Participating in the AIA Quest for the Champion Communicator 2005

We have great pleasure in welcoming Miss Catherine Yen as a new member on the HKIEd Council, effective 1 March 2005.

Miss Yen earned her degree in the United Kingdom and qualified as a chartered accountant with Ernst and Young UK. Upon her return to Hong Kong in 1989, she joined Ernst and Young Hong Kong as Audit Manager. After a series of advancements from partner to People partner (Human Resources), Miss Yen was further appointed as a member of the firm's management committee in 2001. In joining the Council, Miss Yen brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the future development of the Institute.

The School of Early Childhood Education organised its first Career Recruitment Day on 22 April 2005, for the final year students of the Certificate in Early Childhood Education Programme and pre-service Qualified Kindergarten Teacher Education Course.
