Helping Students Discern Their Callings in Work and Life

Abstract:

What exactly does "a sense of calling" in one's career refer to?  Why does it matter? Why is it so important to “live” a calling?  And what can teachers do to help students discern their callings?  This talk introduced the history and science of work as a calling, including practical applications for educators and mentors.
