Walk along Ruth

Description:

In the story of Naomi, Ruth and Boaz, reflections on the following were shared:

1.    Making choices – As Naomi chose to leave the country of Moab and returned to Bethlehem, we make a number of choices every day. Are these choices made according to God’s will or our will?

2.    Returning to God – When Naomi returned to her homeland, she at the same time returned to God.

3.    No pain no gain – In Bethlehem, Ruth worked hard on the fields to pick up the leftover grain. Boaz, a man of standing who owned the field, was also hard working.

4.    A trustworthy man – Although Ruth was a foreigner, Boaz took care of her without discrimination and even married her.

5.    True love – “Charity” means to give unconditionally, just as God’s love to all of us.
