3.  Dr. Robin Cheung (Speech: Servant Leadership Theory of Robert K. Greenleaf and Its Application in Education)

Servant leadership was introduced by Robert K. Greenleaf in 1970. In the West, Jesus Christ is the model of servant leadership because of His teaching: “Not to be served but to serve”. Can servant leadership be applied in the context of education in Hong Kong? What does it mean for a school management leader to be a servant? Can such type of leadership bring positive changes to the school culture?  The three guest speakers elaborated Servant Leadership from the perspectives of management, Biblical interpretation and real life cases respectively. The seminar provided a chance for participants to reflect on the relationship between Servant Leadership and school management.
