Institute believes hall life is an integral part of teacher training and university study. The overall mission is to create a living-learning environment conducive to the personal and professional growth of student residents through the provision of enriched hall life education programmes, well-maintained residential facilities and quality management services.
The Northcote Hall, Grantham Hall and Robert Black Hall provide shared twin and triple study-bedrooms and communal facilities including activity rooms, laundry rooms, and pantries. Each study-bedroom is also equipped with computer ports and telephone sockets.
The Jockey Club Student Quarters comprise 9-person or 12-person flats, each with single/double/triple bedrooms, its own sitting/dinning areas, terrace, kitchen, laundry room and bathrooms. A telephone line and individual computer ports are also provided.
Summer Letting
The Hong Kong Institute of Education provides a peaceful and spacious environment for retreats and training camps. A wide range of facilities are available for organizing both indoor and outdoor activities.
Student accommodation facilities are now open for booking from external organizations during the Summer Break.
