Career service is committed to helping students formulate career plan, obtain career-related experience, master effective job search strategies, and acquire necessary skills for their future career development.

It includes:

1. On-campus Work Exposure Scheme (OWES)
2. Career Guidance and Counselling
3. Life and Career Education Series
4. Further Studies

5. Recruitment Service (for students)
6. Recruitment Service (for employers)

As work exposure is a valuable learning experience and an integral part of university education, the On-Campus Work Exposure Scheme (OWES) is implemented to provide work-learning opportunities for all local full-time pre-service students, especially to students with financial hardship.

Starting from Academic Year 2008/09, students and recruiting department/offices can log on to the online system 'iWork' to complete the recruitment process. For details, please refer to MyIEd.

Career guidance and counselling are available for the students who show concern towards career exploration and planning. Another function of this service is to help students make informed career choices.

Please call 2948 6245 for more information.

Career Education programmes are organised from time to time in order to facilitate students to understand themselves, explore their career inclination, attain their career direction, develop concrete career plan and know more about the job market.

Believing in the importance of 'Life-long learning', workshops and seminars on such subject are regularly organised. Students who plan to pursue further studies after graduation may also approach our counsellors for educational guidance.
