Peer Review of Teaching. American Association for Higher Education. The AAHE's major project on peer review has generated many useful articles and resources:

Teaching Evaluation Handbook. Cornell University. Chapter 3 and Chapter 4 include sections on peer evaluation

The Professional Evaluation of Teaching. American Council of Learned Societies Occasional Paper No. 33. The Peer Collaboration and Review of Teaching article by Pat Hutchings is an excellent overview and introduction to key issues in peer review of teaching.

Peer Review of Teaching. American Association for Higher Education. The AAHE's major project on peer review has generated many useful articles and resources:

Peer Review of Teaching. North Carolina State University. Considers peer review as part of the scholarship teaching and includes a succinct summary of best practice.

Educator Peer Mentoring and Review. Baylor College of Medicine. Includes brief descriptions of methods and a useful list of annotated references.

 
Teaching portfolios
David Baume. Teaching and Learning Support Network. A slide presentation by a leading UK portfolio practitioner. Notes the key features of a teaching portfolio and the issues associated with each feature.
