LTTC seeks to enhance teaching and learning by supporting professional development of academic staff through:
- Workshops, seminars, forums, discussions on good practices in teaching and assessments;
- Facilitating conversations among teaching and learning communities around common issues/interests;
- Consulting and advising on teaching, learning and assessment;
- Collaborating with departments on projects and research initiatives;
- Dissemination good teaching and learning practices:
- Organizing experience sharing sessions among teaching staff.
- Organizing seminars by faculty members with Outstanding Teaching - Award to disseminate exemplary practices.
- Developing learning and instructional resources.
Fostering the Use of IT in Teaching and Learning
LTTC seeks to promote the adoption of technology-enhanced, student-centered approaches by:
- Providing an eLearning platform and a suite of tools
- Providing training for the use of innovative teaching and learning technologies
- Exploring and promoting emerging technologies for teaching and learning
