Our team provides consultancy and technical support to staff and students of the Institute in their production of educational media. We cooperate with staff and students in developing innovative teaching and learning strategies with e-Learning and the use of digital educational media.
e-Learning Workshops for staff and students
We organize up-to-date workshops for staff and students to promote e-Learning. The staff workshops aim at helping staff to strengthen their current teaching strategies and enhance students’ learning effects. The student workshops, on the other hand, are intended to help develop and improve students' learning skills and strategies; such as collaborative learning, self-reflection, providing effective feedback, using mind mapping tools, and creating digital audio, video and images.
Media Production Venues
We manage various media production venues for staff and students to produce their own media materials for teaching and learning activities. Various functions and features of these multimedia facilities are tabled below:

All students and staff are welcome to make use of the facilities and booking of the Media Production Rooms can be made through the iBooking system at MyIED. Users are strongly encouraged to attend our workshops to acquire the requisite skills in utilising the facilities.
Before calling our technical support hotline, users can access the e-support corner to explore some basic tips and procedures in studio recording, audio recording, non-linear editing and photo taking.
