重力中加速度 Acceleration due to gravity g

當任何質量 m 的物體在接近地球表面而且在真空的環境下跌時,它們會有相同的加速度 g 。
 
已知: M = 地球的質量 (earth's mass) = 5.976x1024 kg
R =地球的半徑 (earth's radius)= 6.371x106m
W = mg = G Mm/R2
所以 g = G M/R2 = 9.825 m s-2

如果地球是球形(spherical)且不旋轉(non-rotating),這是一個理想值。
