The Postgraduate Students Summer School and Research Conference 2012 will be jointly organized by The Hong Kong Institute of Education (HKIEd), South China Normal University and the University of Macau on 2-3 June 2012. First day event will be held at the University of Macau while the second day will be held at HKIEd.

As part of the Summer School, a series of workshops on developing research skills will be organized to enhance postgraduate studentˇ¦s knowledge and design of their research project. For the research conference, postgraduate students from areas of Business, Language and Linguistics, Education, Science, and Social Science will present their research in themed panels and each panel will be chaired by experts. The conference aims to provide a platform for postgraduates to present, interact and exchange ideas with other postgraduate students and scholars as well as receive expert feedback on their research. In addition, one session will be held for providers of postgraduate education to interact, exchange ideas and discuss strategies for improving support to research students.
