Applicable to all students from HKALE cohort, up to and including 2012/13:
General Education courses are classified into four areas:
For BEd students (Four-year Full-time):
1. Take a minimum of 18 cps or 6 courses during four years of studies.
2. Take at least 1 course from each of the 4 areas, and no more than 2 courses from each area.
For Non-BEd students (Three-year Full-time):
1.Take a minimum of 12 cps or 4 courses during the three years of studies.
2. Take 1 course from each of the 4 areas.
