The Faculty of Arts and Sciences organizes summer school programmes for our students to enrich their experiential learning. In Summer 2010, the Faculty will collaborate with the University of Hong Kong, National Chengchi University in Taipei, Sun Yat-sen University in Guangzhou and Zhejiang University in Hangzhou for a four-week programme on “social change and sustainable development”. This programme will focus on environmental protection and sustainable development in four cities: Guangzhou, Hangzhou, Shanghai and Taipei.

Students will attend lectures given by renowned professors. They will also undertake field visits to local governmental departments, NGOs, political parties and social service centres.
