Dr. Jun Li was invited to work as a visiting scholar at the Faculty of Education of Hong Kong University in 1996-1997 and at the Graduate School of Education of Tokyo University in 1997-1998 and 2000-2001, respectively. While gaining wide international experiences over many years, he has published three academic books and more than 50 journal articles/book chapters in Chinese, English and Japanese. Moreover, he has been on the International Editorial Board of Paedagogica Historica (Belgium, 1998-2007), and an invited paper reviewer of the International Journal of Educational Development (Oxford) since 2000 and Comparative Education Review (Chicago) since 2002. ¡@ Before joining in HKIEd in 2008, Dr. Li had worked as a post-doctoral fellow at the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education of the University of Toronto (OISE/UT) since 2006, on a SSHRCC project, China's Move to Mass Higher Education: Implications for Civil Society and Global Cultural Dialogue. Since 2007, he has been appointed an instructor associated in the School of Graduate Studies of the University of Toronto, and at the same year he co-taught a graduate course with Prof. Ruth Hayhoe on Comparative Education Theory and Methodology at OISE/UT. ¡@
