How to support Endowed Chairs Scheme

The Institute seeks private donations from individuals and organisations for establishing endowment funds to support the "Endowed Chairs Scheme". Subject to the wish of the donor, the Institute will name an Endowed Chair in honour of the donor or other honoree, in a particular discipline/specialty designated by the donor. For example, the title can be "[Name of the donor] Chair Professor of Linguistics".

The donor of an endowment will be invited to the conferment ceremony for the relevant Endowed Chair Professor, as well as to the Institute's other events, and will have an annual meeting with the Endowed Chair Professor to be updated on the research being conducted. The Institute will also submit an annual status report to the donor, together with a work report prepared by the Endowed Chair Professor.
