Grade D or above in Visual Arts (formerly Art) or Ceramics in the HKCEE; OR

| BA (Language Studies) |
Grade D or above in AS Use of English and in Chinese Language & Culture in the HKALE.
Notes:
- Applicants who have obtained Grade E or above in Chinese Literature in the HKALE will have an advantage if they apply for entry into the Chinese Major of the programme.
- Applicants who have obtained Grade E or above in Literature in English in the HKALE will have an advantage if they apply for entry into the English Major of the programme.

Grade D or above in AS Chinese Language & Culture in the HKALE.
In addition, applicants having obtained Grade E or above in Chinese Literature in the HKALE will be considered favourably. |
| BEd (Early Childhood Education) |
No specific requirements other than the general entrance requirements. |
| BEd (English Language) |
Grade D or above in AS Use of English in the HKALE and satisfactory performance in a subject interview. |
| BEd (Liberal Studies) |
Grade D or above in any one of the following subjects in the HKALE (AL/AS): Chinese History, Economics, Geography, History, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Psychology.
In addition, preference will be given to applicants who have obtained Grade E or above in AS Liberal Studies in the HKALE. |
| BEd (Music) |
Grade E or above in AL/AS Music in the HKALE and satisfactory performance in a subject interview; OR
Satisfactory performance in a practical test and a subject interview. |
| BEd (Physical Education) |
Grade D or above in Physical Education in the HKCEE* and satisfactory performance in a subject interview; OR
Satisfactory performance in a practical test and a subject interview. |
| BEd (Primary) – General Studies Major |
Grade E or above in any one of the following subjects in the HKALE (AL/AS): Biology, Chemistry, Chinese History, Economics, Engineering Science, Geography, GPA, History, Liberal Studies, Physics. |
| BEd (Primary) – Mathematics Major |
Grade E or above in any one of the following subjects in the HKALE (AL/AS): Pure Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, Mathematics & Statistics. |
| BEd (Secondary) – Information and Communication Technology Major |
Grade E or above in one of the following AL/AS subjects: Computer Applications, Computer Studies, Applied Mathematics, Mathematics & Statistics, Pure Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, Physics |
| BEd (Visual Arts) |
Grade E or above in AL/AS Visual Arts (formerly Art) in the HKALE; OR
Grade D or above in Visual Arts (formerly Art) or Ceramics in the HKCEE; OR
Satisfactory performance in a practical test and a portfolio interview. |
