Topics will include : theories of the nature and causes of disorder of fluency (including stuttering and cluttering) across the life span, and different assessment and evaluation techniques including individual and family counselling; knowledge of the incidence, pathogenesis, differential diagnostic and intervention procedures of different voice disorders across the life span including psychogenic and neurogenic disorders such as musculo-skeletal dysfunction, gender reassignment, vocal tract pathology; knowledge of the incidence, pathogenesis, differential diagnostic and intervention procedures of different head and neck cancers.
