It aims to enhance students’ competencies in catering for classroom diversity. Students will learn the principles and policy of integrated education in Hong Kong and other regions/countries, understand the other -six types of special education needs, including Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD), Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Intellectual Disorder (ID), Gifted, Speech and Language Impairments (SLI), and Emotion and Behavioural Disorders (EBD), and acquire the related supporting strategies and skills under The 3 Tier Support Model, and develop a caring, understanding, supportive and positive attitude and a respect for diverse needs of children in all school settings.
