單元概要
The aim of this course is to enable students to demonstrate their ability to develop, plan, and execute psychological research that adheres to ethical guidelines. It is designed to foster independent thinking and to encourage academic debate on significant issues and principles of psychological research via individual supervision. Additionally, the project requires demonstration of competence and skills in collecting, analyzing, interpreting, and reporting empirical research data within the mode of scientific research. This course is a requirement for the completion of a concentration study for students who do not take the Industrial Attachment, in which case the Honours Project will need to be conducted on a topic related to the concentration. Students who do not opt for any concentration can also conduct an Honours Project on any topic in psychology.
