It is of utmost importance to facilitate optimal performance of employees for sustainable development and financial performance of any organization. To do so, one needs to match individual characteristics to tasks and organizational environment. This course is complement to the course Industrial and Organizational Psychology, with a focus on individual differences and their consequences for the organization, as well as assessment of individual differences. Topics including methodological and ethical issues in assessment, individual differences and work performance, personnel selection, implications of individual differences for training and development, and policies to support effective assessment practices.
