Module Code 單元編號 PFS5035 Module Title 單元名稱 POSITIVE PEDAGOGY: AN APPLIED FRAMEWORK FOR POSITIVE EDUCATION Module Synopsis 單元概要 “Positive Pedagogy: An Applied Framework for Positive Education” is the advance course of the programme. It focuses on the integration and implementation of positive education based on the theories of psychological health and well-being. Students will assess feasible ways to construct positive school climate practices and strategies. They will also examine the teaching strategies and practices to enhance their existing teaching practices. In addition, they will construct positive education curricula and programs for promoting well-being with a critical and whole school approach, including selecting their signature strengths (e.g., honesty, perseverance, kindness, creativity, courage) and building resilience.. Positive education principles and guidelines as well as innovative teaching methods and strategies will also be recommended. Finally, it is suggested that the effectiveness of positive education curricula and programs will be evaluated with a critical approach.
