A number of respectful religious and educational leaders of Hong Kong visited Centre for Religious and Spirituality Education (hereafter, CRSE) immediately after our President's Installation at HKIEd on March 26, 2008, giving the Centre a lot of valuable advice for further development.  They are:

Fr. HA Keloon Louis, Department of Cultural and Religious Studies, The Chinese University of Hong Kong,
Prof. HAYHOE Ruth, our Former HKIEd President,
Ms. KUOK Ruth, Governor of Art of Living Foundation in Hong Kong,

Mr. MAK Chi Fee, Chairman of Ching Chung Taoist Association of Hong Kong Limited,
Ven. SIK Hong Ming, Director of Heung Hoi Ching Kok Lin Association,
Ven. SIK Kok Kwong, President of the Hong Kong Buddhist Association.

During their visit, CRSE's Director, Prof. NG Tze Ming Peter, explained to them the latest development of the Centre, including the emphasis on Life and Spirituality Education, believing that it is the key to quality education and to "Education Plus" proposed by our President. Prof. NG emphasized that "A teacher must be adequately knowledgeable about religion and spirituality, otherwise, he or she cannot understand his/her students, or even the professional identity of a teacher." The respectful religious and educational leaders echoed their continuous support to this educational mission of CRSE and hoped that through the work of the Centre, Hong Kong education would be broadened and generate brighter hope to our coming generations.
