香港教育學院校友合唱團於二零零三年九月成立。本團希望藉練習機會提升團員之音樂造詣，將音樂推廣至社區。由開團至今，本團曾於大會堂參與聖誕音樂會，以及於2004年暑假與校友管弦樂團合辦音樂會，展望於未來能繼續參與各類型演出，藉以豐富各團員的經驗。

   香港教育學院校友合唱團於二零零三年九月成立。本團希望藉練習機會提升團員之音樂造詣，將音樂推廣至社區。由開團至今，本團曾於大會堂參與聖誕音樂會，以及於2004年暑假與校友管弦樂團合辦音樂會，展望於未來能繼續參與各類型演出，藉以豐富各團員的經驗。 THE EDUCATOR STRINGS began with a few string players gathered together to play string music as a leisure pursuit, but has gradually grown into a chamber ensemble seeking for more serious music concerns since composer Stefan S. Au joined and took up an advisory role in 2002. The members are mostly music education majors, or graduates of the Hong Kong Institute of Education. Due to some changes in members and person-in-charge, THE EDUCATOR STRINGS was reformed again in mid 2004. And we have our first concert after reform in Nov 2004. As many members are music teachers in primary and secondary schools in Hong Kong, THE EDUCATOR STRINGS has a conviction to share the beauty of string music to the public, and promotes the joy of playing string instruments, particularly to young audience.
