To build up a healthy immunity system of our bodies through regular exercises, which would help to prevent, for example, the atypical pneumonia, as well as to show our care and support for SARS victims and their families, three administrative offices (Communication and Institutional Advancement Office, Human Resources Office and Student Affairs Office) and the Institute¡¦s Academic Staff Association are initiating a fund-raising campaign - ¡§Step by Step and Heart to Heart: A sponsored walk to combat SARS (°·¨B§Üª¢Äm·R¤ß)¡¨:

Starting Point:	outside Block A

Staff and students are encouraged to join the activity by 1) making a round-the-campus walk together, 2) sponsoring those who walk, or 3) both ways. The total proceeds of the campaign will be donated to the education fund initiated by eleven educational organizations (co-ordinated by the Hong Kong Professional Teachers¡¦ Union), including the Academic Staff Association of the Institute. The funds raised will be used for helping SARS victims and their families with a special provision to those from the education sector to address the following needs:„c

	Educational fund for the SARS victims¡¦ children; («D¨å«¬ªÍª¢¯f±wªÌªº¤l¤k§U¾Çª÷)
	Emergency fund for support of the SARS victims¡¦ families; and («D¨å«¬ªÍª¢¯f±wªÌªº®a®xºò«æ´©§Uª÷)
