Advice
to Staff and Students on Extra Precautions against AP when commuting
in and visiting the Tai Po Community
As it appears that
the number of building blocks with AP cases is on the increase in the
Tai Po district, we advise you to consider taking extra precautionary
measures. These include:-
| i) |
Please
wear a mask when riding on public transport, including staff/student
buses. Masks are available for sale at the on-campus convenience
store. A limited stock of masks has been kept at the Information
Centre at the Ground Floor of the Administration Building, and you
may obtain a mask from there if you have difficult getting one. |
|
|
| ii) |
After
arrival at the Tai Po campus by public transport, please disinfect
your shoes on the red carpet placed at the campus entrance. |
|
|
| iii) |
Please
wash your hands frequently. Hand disinfecting spray dispensers have
also been installed outside the Security Control Centre near the
entrance and you are welcomed to make use of them. |
| |
|
| iv) |
If
you have the following suspected AP symptoms, please immediately
consult the doctor, return home and come back to work or for lessons
when you are certain that it is not an AP case:- |
| |
a)
a fever of 38 degrees Celsius or above
b) malaise, chills, headache and body ache
c) chest X-rays showing changes compatible with pneumonia
d) coughing, shortness of breath or difficulty in breathing. |
