Scholarships and awards are established as an encouragement to the pursuit of academic excellence and in recognition of academic achievement. Donated by organizations, professional bodies and civic-minded individuals, these scholarships and awards will be granted on the basis of academic merits, personal qualities, commitment to teaching and service to the community, among other things.
